How Much Does a Business Website Cost in 2026?
Short answer: a professional small-business website usually costs between roughly $500 and $2,000+, depending on how many pages and features you need. The honest longer answer is that “a website” can mean five very different things. Here is what changes the price, and how to know what you actually need.

Typical price ranges
These are realistic starting ranges for custom design and development (not drag-and-drop templates):
- Landing page (one focused page): from ~$499
- Business website (multi-page): from ~$799
- UI/UX design only (Figma): from ~$400
- Web app / dashboard: from ~$1,299
- Website audit & redesign: from ~$250
- Ongoing maintenance: from ~$300/month
What actually drives the price
- Number of pages and how much unique content each needs
- Custom design vs. an off-the-shelf template
- Features: booking, e-commerce, multilingual, dashboards, integrations
- Languages (Arabic + English + Turkish adds structure and RTL work)
- Whether content and images are ready, or need to be produced
- Timeline, genuinely urgent work costs more
Freelancer vs. agency vs. DIY
A DIY builder is cheapest up front but costs you time and usually looks generic. An agency is the most expensive because you pay for a team and overhead. A specialist freelancer sits in between: you get custom design and development and deal with one person end to end, which is how I work.
What a “cheap” website really costs you
A $100 template site that loads slowly, breaks on mobile, and has no clear contact path quietly loses you enquiries every week. The cheapest site is rarely the least expensive one once you count the business it fails to win.
Landing page or full website?
If you have one offer or service and one action you want visitors to take, a landing page is faster and cheaper. If you have multiple services and need to build broader trust, a full site earns its cost. This is covered in detail in the guide “Landing Page vs Full Website”.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a small business website cost in 2026?
A custom small-business website typically costs from around $799 for a multi-page site, or from ~$499 for a single landing page. Final cost depends on pages, features, and languages.
Why do website prices vary so much?
Because “a website” ranges from a one-page template to a multilingual multi-page site with booking and dashboards. Pages, custom design, features, languages, and content readiness all move the price.
Is a cheap template website worth it?
Rarely for a real business. Template sites often load slowly, look generic, and hide the contact path, quietly costing you enquiries. Custom design and a proper technical setup usually pay for themselves.
Do I need a full website or just a landing page?
If you have one offer and one goal, a landing page is enough. If you offer several services and need broader trust, a full multi-page website is the better fit.
