PROJECT 07 · 2024
Samay Group
Enterprise / Corporate Group · samay-group.com · 2024
Corporate group website built to present multiple business divisions under one unified digital identity with clear hierarchy and professional design language.
Project Context
Samay Group (SAMAY Technologies – Industry & Trading) sells two catalogues that have almost nothing in common: building automation products such as automatic sliding, revolving and curved doors, elevators and pergolas, and a medical equipment line covering hospital beds, stretchers, chairs and stainless steel units. Both are sold to residential and commercial buyers. The website has to let one visitor find one of those catalogues without having to understand the other.
Target Users
- Contractors and building owners sourcing automatic doors, elevators or pergolas for a specific project
- Hospital and clinic buyers sourcing beds, stretchers and stainless steel units
- Commercial buyers comparing suppliers before requesting a quotation
- Existing partners returning for a specific product page or the company's contact details
Main User Journey
- Arrive looking for one product category, not for the company as a whole
- Identify which of the two catalogues that category belongs to
- Open the specific product and read what it actually is
- Judge whether the company supplies at the scale the project needs
- Move to the contact section to request a quotation
Constraints
- Two unrelated product lines under one company name, neither of which could be demoted to a sub-page of the other
- A long product catalogue where individual items (a revolving door, a pediatric bed) are the real landing points, not the homepage
- Product data supplied by the client as specifications and photography, with no web-ready descriptions
- The client's team had to be able to add products later without a developer

Key Work
- Corporate structure & multi-business showcase
- Clear navigation & subsidiary pages
- CMS management
- Responsive framework
UX & Design Decisions
- The navigation names the product categories directly (Doors, Elevators) instead of hiding them behind a generic "Products" menu, because visitors arrive with a category in mind
- Each product gets its own page rather than a row in a shared table, so a specific item can be linked, shared and found on its own
- The two catalogues are separated at the top level, so a hospital buyer never has to scroll through pergolas and a contractor never has to scroll through delivery beds
- The homepage states what the company supplies before it says anything about itself, because a sourcing visitor is checking fit, not reading a company profile
- Contact sits at the end of every product path, since the conversion here is a quotation request tied to a specific item
Verified Outcome
Delivered at samay-group.com: a multi-division corporate site with unified identity, clear navigation, subsidiary pages, and CMS setup for ongoing updates.
